Yay ! I got my P5 today, i picked the fully loaded black P5 because i didnt want to wait for the blue that they promised me was there ! But i am happy with my choice

I plan on getting a Viper alarm system because where i live people already are noticing it saying sweet ride , and you never know they could be planning to break into it lol, I am getting some tints this saturday, i will keep it around 35% so that the cops wont bother me, I am planning to getting a new sterio system, Thats my only problem with the P5, is that the stock radio system sucks big time But its all good. Its perfect if you dont want your music ready loud, but when playing anything from Rap to R & B to Rock you need a better system, the speakers kinda distorts at high levels but i love my ride ! ! !
I also will plan on getting a new exhaust, and Injen cold air intake.

Maybe Turbo ?

I also want some 17'' rims and indash dvd player
I want other Mods but So many things so little money lol

 

You must have bought the automatic trans then, 'cause the stereo is WAY better at what it does than the stock shift linkage for the 5 speed is at what IT does.

An alarm is probably a good idea, as 90% of the break-ins are based on the sound system you have in the dash, and on the P-5 it's way up high on the dash, screaming at everyone who walks by "STEAL ME! STEAL ME!!

Its just the deck that makes the stereo sound bad. Replace that and you should be good to go. But new speakers wouldn't hurt.

 

The speakers are paper! When I changed mine, i was shocked to see how small the magnet was and that the cone was all paper! Holy crap, what a difference it makes to change the speakers. I'm gonna change the deck this summer too, when I find one I like

 

um not to doubt u, but its definetly the speakers that suck, i have an ES so i have 6x9's yu dont have but the drivers on them were so puny, my friend has a pair of tweeters with a bigger drive then my 6x9, it was sad

 

there's magnets on the stock speakers??? ha ha, yeah they're real small...
