grill for mp3, mp5

I had baught a grill from atgrills.com..They had a pic of the grill on a mp3 and it looked great! It arrived and i got it on.. This product is very cheaply made and the stupid grill fit loosley.. The directions said I would need to remove my front bumper because of the snug fit.. What a bunch of crap.. So, I e-mailed them and explained to them my problem.. They told me to return the grill and that they were experimenting with new materials and they would send me a demo.. Hopefully this one looks nice and has a snug fit.. Just be carefull about what you buy and don't get ripped off..

Thanks for the warning. I'd heard some bad rumours about those grills. Hope their "demo" works out for you!

Sorry to tell you man, but Keebler is right. That's about $3.50 worth of mesh from Home Depot. You've been straight-jacked. I'm looking at getting some good mesh for my car, but I'm getting the same kind as used on the Z06. Stainless, fine cross-hatched interwoven design. It's pricey, but it's worth it.

Anyways, send that **** back and get your refund!

I've been dealing with AT Grills for about 6 months & while they are a couple of guys doing this at home, they are good guys & do their best. The where previously using a thing mesh which was ok, but was pretty cheap. Either way, I've sold a bunch of them (ones that I got through AT Grills) and 98% of the people I've sold to liked them (at least once they got it on their car) I havent had any complains of rusting. I had one on my car for a couple of months without any rust. Then, they told me they have started using a new mesh so they sent me one to test out & its much much better. Its about twice the thickness & just plain better! It looks better, it fits better, etc. I've sold about 50 or 60 of these grills & think I've had 3 people return them (those 3 people wouldnt even give it a chance after they got it in & didnt like the way it looked in their hands) And I've had some people that said when they got it in, they where leery but once they installed it, they really liked the way it looked and where pleased. AT Grills does alot of work & sells alot of product & the fact that they are in Canada & probably 90% of their business is in the US hurts them because of the Canadian to US shipping (which sucks!) They have had tons of shipments lost & due to this (and the fact that Canadian Post may take weeks to get a shipment over the border) some dealings with them have been slow. But, they do their best to fix problems & keep everything smooth. So I feel they do a very good job & for those people out there that cant get 16 guage steel mesh (which isnt the stuff you get at Home Depot) and have the tools to cut this mesh or the time to cut it or just dont want to, they do a great job. If you want to pick up some 3.00 mesh from Home Depot & cut it, then you can do that with the cheap mesh. But dont dog on a company that is trying to offering a decent product & do their best. And, theres nothing wrong with a couple of kids doing business. That is a Company. Heck, Im just 1 kid (well, not a kid but probably younger than alot of you!) and I do a bunch of business with you all.

you can e-mail AT Grills & ask them. But more than likely, unless the thiner one is having problems or rusting, they probably wont exchange. I have had them exchange them before but only when there was a problem. Goto their webpage at www.atgrills.com & e-mail them from there.

I wish my experience was as good as you make it seems it should have been according to your account. I checked, and could have gotten the same mesh at Home depot, and payed 4 or 5 bucks to get enough to mess up a few times...anyway, it cost me 70 bucks (US) and I think that's bullshit. I wrote it off after I got a response to one of my inquiries regarding rust (several days, if not a week or more) saying "paint it"-- Sorry, I don't like paying that kind of money for something that started rusting after 12 HOURS I am all for kids working for some money, as I did too back in high school and college. If they were selling it for 15-20 bucks or something then I wouldn't be nearly as upset, but running a business selling shotty products with a 1750% markup (not including shipping) is just wrong. Sorry I have to disagree so vehemently.

I said their old mesh was cheap stuff & that wasnt good (although, I still havent had any rust problems) but they found a new style of mesh that is much better & isnt the cheap homedepot mesh. Its the same mesh Wings West uses on their grills for their cars.

Someone told me not to order from them because you could get that same mest from your local Auto Zone. They also said that when they did finally get there grill it was about three months after they paid for it.

You cant get this mesh they currently use from autozone or home depot nor can you cut it at home. Its too thick. And if you order it through me (and I have it in stock) you'll have it in a couple of days. But, since they are in Canada, the shipping from there to the US is horrible (not to mention the fact that the Canadian post haslost numerous packages)
