Getting a Protege 5?

OK,
I am talking with my local dealership (Austin, TX) and they said that if I bought a P5, I could roll the cost of all the aftermarket goodies into the loan(great loan rates at this time )....here is the list as it stands....

-- CAI Intake (what do you recommend?)
-- Exhaust (Isn't Greddy making and exhaust? Bosal, Tripoint, Anyone else?)
-- Mazda Sport Coilovers (I plan to hit the track so I thought these would make more since.)
-- Lightened flywheel (anyone have one for the P5?)
-- Carbon fiber hood (Tri-point emailed me and said they have them for $475....exhaust and Suspension still in R&D)
-- 17 inch Volks with Bridgestone Potenza's (got em on my miata and love them)

What else can you guys/gals think of that might be worth adding at this point.

As far as a CAI I would go with injen I will be getting one of theres when they come out.

For additional aftermarket parts I would get new struts. Not sure which because I still have factory on my p5 and havent talked to anyone that has. It all depends on how much you wanna spend. You could figure in a price to get a custom 4-1 header.

Thats cool. I would also go with the Injen CAI (I have these coming in hopefully about a week for sell). You can also go with either the Ground Control coil overs (adjustable lowering) or the H&R lowering springs (about 130.00 less for 1.3" drop & not adjustable), NGK or Denso Iridium spark plugs (52.00), and some other cosmetic stuff (Im working on an order for some cool looking grills for 63.00). Check out my site for more Protege5 stuff. As more stuff is available, it will be posted. And let us know when you get the car.

Ever look into a Venom 400 Upgrade. They have a bunch of ads in the Sport Compact Car Magazine and theyre a couple hundred dollars(i would estimate about 300 USD). Im sure you can find it for much cheaper but i dunno if it would even fit on an MP5. My friend but one in his 97 eclipe and he could immediatly feel the difference and you get a lot more power too. Its a sweet little upgrade. Peace..

Racing Beat mods for P5

You might wanna look into the stuff that Racing Beat is coming out with. Since they did the MP3 upgrades they probably know what they're doing with the P5 as well

Check
http://www.racingbeat.com/FRprotege.htm
and pick off the dropdown menu on the left.
They've got estimated prices and are saying the parts will be available around the end of the year.
