neither. you should come by my house and check out my new Corksport Power series exhaust. It actually includes a catless midpipe with the catback. Corlsport claims the exhaust on a stock MSP made an extra 12whp and is 24lbs lighter than stock....I think it's actually lighter than that. Price is about $400

p.s., you should pm me or something sometime so we could get together and talk shop.

Hows it goin Matty.....So how does the CS Cat-back sound? Hopefully not like a weed eater on steriods....I was not sure about getting the CS version because it does remove the Cat and I really did not know if that would cause any problems on a daily driver (I refering to it is illegal to not have a cat right?)...but if I do buy the CS version I would have enough money to buy an Intake as well hmmmm....Very tempting. Is the CS Cat-back a bolt on or will it have to be altered in anyway? If so maybe you would be willing to assist me in putting it on (and I would be happy to give some money for your trouble).

it is a direct bolt-on job and despite the problems with them putting the wrong hangers on my muffler was very easy. Here in AL there is no emissions testing nor do police even have equipment to sniff the tailpipes...I've run straight pipes on all my turbo cars with no problems. You will REALLY enjoy how a turbo car feels with a less restrictive exhaust. Do that Injen intake and the CS exhaust and you'll be happy. Then we'll work on your crappy intercooler!

I dont mind helping you out any. Just let me know what you need.

Sounds good I really almost convinced I will do that Matty I will let you know when I get the goods (the check from the tax man should be here in days now).
My only beef with the intercooler deal is that it seems to be outrageously exspensive and money does not grow on trees where I live LOL nor do the bills stop coming. Is there a less inexpensive way of doing it? I know you can buy the pipes (universal) but not to sure that is the best course of action...any thoughts?

check out www.corksport.com for info on their MSP exhaust....

as for the intercooler I would HIGHLY recommend the BEGi fmic from www.protegegarage.com however it's about $750+shipping. If that is out of your range we should look into getting some decent hardpipes for your stock IC. Stock plastic pipes swell, crack and leak and cause boost drop-off. Hard pipes are about $200 shipped and prevent a lot of that.
