Hi, I don't know if this section is proper section to write this issue but I will try this anyway.
I got into car accident today, and all my right side of car have been damaged. I was wondering if how much it will cost to fix these damages.
because other driver wants to negotiate with me without filing these accident to insurance company.
I going to get estimate tomorrow but I just want to have idea where the range is...
right front passenger door, back passenger door and rear right , skirt, and bumper was damaged.
help is appreciated.

 

if the other driver is wanting to pay for your repairs without filing a report.....well.....I have seen more than one person get burnt this way....did you call the police? was an accident report filed? I hope so....was the other driver ticketed?

WHATEVER YOU DO....take your car to the best body shop you can find.....get the estimates.....and have the work done by the best you can find.

 

both of did the police report, but we had to actually went down to police station to file up the reports. that's how chicago's like.
nobody was ticketed, police just file up the reports and let us go.
btw, other driver called me up today and asked me what action I will take. I told them to go ahead and make reports to your insurance co, I told them since it wasn't my fault, at this time I don't want to release the my insurance info.
this accident was happened in IL chicago, driver was from New york and moved in to chicago some time ago, so he still had new york license and plate, and the car was owned by his mom.
anyway, His dad called me up to negotiatte with me .and so I told him I will go ahead and find estimate for this car, and notify them tomorrow. if price is too expensive they told me they will reports to the their insurance co.
