according all infos , they have 55L tanks in USA, so The Man has advantage of 5L comparing to canadians - that is roughly in his case 60.5-65 km .

we have 55L tanks in Canada as well. If you have the 2.0L, then check your owner's manual: it clearly says we have a 55L tank. The 1.6Ls on the other hand have the 50L tanks.

I`v got year 1999, and according manual there is 50L tank for 1.6 and 1.8L engines. I did not mean that in general as I do not own each year, but even in this forum you can find that there are significant differences in canadian/american versions of Proteges.

dude, read your own post carefully! You were NOT referring to the 1999 model, you were referring to TheMAN's Protege, which is a 2001 2.0L, hence he has a 55L tank and I have a 55L tank, so NO he does not have a 5L advantage over me. All this to say you were WRONG because TheMAN's Protege has a 55L tank and not 50L as you stated in your previous post.

I love making people look stupid!

Yes , I was WRONG because I did not know about 2.0 L engines here in Canada ( I have 1.8 ).

By the way, I have never said that The Man has 50 L tank!!!

400 mpg! That's amazing! That's better than those electric/gas hybrid engines! I thought Protege's are only supposed to get around 30 mpg... a clean air filter makes a huge difference doesn't it?!

I'm sorry but I couldn't help myself!

He must push it for about 375 miles then jump in. Then 30 miles down the push it again. And so on....that wasn't as funny as i thought it was gonna be.
