Well, I did! , since it's been around two years when I got the car, and the range of the unit has decreased alot.
I still remember the time when the unit had madz range and I locked and unlocked the car at very far distances.
I tested it several times today, but the range while better, it's unlike new. Is there another factor besides the battery that causes the lessened range?

had to replace mine, didn't notice any difference in range. one of them actually had the metal bracket on the inside come loose, and I had to solder it back on, then repeated. Better than buying a new one for $80. I digress.

NOPE not yet....but its probably the battery...
its probably like watch batteries....ever noticed how the battery that comes in a watch will last about 3-5 years....then the replacement batteries will die at or within a year? that sucks too....I would expect your remote entry battery that you just replaced to be dead in about a year....
