I think that's the problem with 90% of the Protege accidents that occur, cuz we all get way too confident in our cars. It happened to me personally .. same thing too. I just got too damn confident and used to taking corners way faster than I should and I hit some loose gravel and spun out. Our cars do have fantastic handling and I think a lot of us let that get to our head .. then the next thing you know ****'s hittin the fan!!

so... what if i did the same thing in a '83 cutlass supreme? except, instead of gravel, hello curb... it was gravel, hello ditch.. 360 in ditch (LONG shallow ditch between 2 driveways), hello driveway, air jordan, then stop 10ft short of barbwire fence (fun fun fun!)

sounds like a nice trip in a boat.
a friend a few years ago hit a patch of gravel in his cavalier over corrected when it spun, ripped off front bumper on a curb and made some nice tire tracks in some guys yard.

Yeh, a few inches lower and I would have caused some serious body damage. The car looks untouched body-wise, which is crazy considering it was ran off the road and over a curb.

well.. i WAS in a boat... '83 cutlass supreme = YACHT haha
there was no correcting this thing... it was back gravel/slide across road, hit wet grass... enjoy the ride.. culprit = they just gravel'd the ladies driveways
