Coating for Header

Okay - i have a wagner header that has been repaired but is just silver (stainless?). Rust spots at the welds.

Can i just shake/rattle and spray high temp paint?

What would it cost to be jet-coated? Other solutions?

Thanks!

I think jet-coating it would cost more than it's worth at this point.
You're doing this to absorb heat, or protect it from further corrosion?

Mostly looks. I may just tend towards painting 'em flat black/high temp. I do have a short ram intake - so heat/under hood temps is a concern for me. I want to look like stock - to ensure i pass emmisions/visual inspections.

it will never look stock. jet-coat is the best but it's $$$. If you know someone with a sand blaster you can strip it down bare, soak it in parts cleaner and do a high temp powdercoat but it won't hold up like jet-coat.
