Changin the oil
I love to change the oil myself.
I usually just jack the car up with the jack that came with the car and work from there, only 1 jack. So far I probably changed the oil about 8-10 times with that method and I haven't died yet lol! But I can see where it is very dangerous to do it like that because the car's not very stable with that 1 jack.
I also prefer to change the oil when the engine's cold like on a saturday/sunday morning. The drain plug's easier to unscrew when it's cold.
Oh and that pic, who ever said it's a girl's ***?
it could very well be a guy's lol!
But nice *** though!

Ok, so i finally got everything together, got the car up on the ramps, start to untighten to drain plug and it won't budge! its solid as a rock. It will not move, at all. The place i had the oil changed at last must of tightened down way too much or put something on it that doesn't let it come loose... either way, i'm pissed. And the thing is, i've taken the car there everytime, so how in the world do THEY get it loose?
Does anyone have any suggestions?!? Please???

There's an old trick you can do with open/closed end wrenches. Used the closed end on the bolt, and then hook another wrench on to the open end. It will give you twice the leverage and you can normally get most stuff loose.
It wouldn't hurt to spray the bolt with something like "PB Blaster". But I doubt that will be necessary.
If you're using a socket wrench you can slide a pipe over the end to give you more leverage as well.
Just make SURE your turning in the correct direction.
