Exclamation CD deck skipping

Wondered if any of you guys had problems with this, on my 2003 P5...the CD deck seems really sensitive to bumps in the road...The CD keeps skiping on any bump in the road (for those of you who know the roads in Quebec...you knoe what i'm talking about...)

Take it back to the dealership and have it replaced under warranty. My old 1998 Explorer and my wife's 1998 Corolla had similar problems and both were promptly replaced under warranty. I have had my P5 for a year and no problems other than a CD that refused to eject from the unit. I had ejected the CD, but not yet taken it out because I was leaving a light. After a few seconds, the CD goes back into the player and this is when it would not come back out. The dealership pulled the fuse for the radio and put it back in. Pressing eject released the CD. The dealership had seen this problem a few times.

The same thing happens to me but only while pulling hard in a turn. What I think is happening is the tracking arm in the player can't take the .90 g.

I had this problem too. I had them replace the deck (I checked and they definitely did replace it). It still didn't fix the problem. So now I have my old Pioneer in there (for now) and it works tons better. The problem showed up the most on burned CD's although I caught it with pressed ones too. If you take yours in find something identifiable on yours. My dealership programmed all of my radio stations back in which really pissed me off until I noticed that a small scratch that had been there was gone.
