Break in

How easy should i take it breakin my new p5 in, i have 200 miles right now, usually i let it warm up before bringing it above 3000
the highest i have taken it so far it 5000 rpm, should i be concerned and drive it a little easyer (i've been driving how i normally drive, hard) or not worry about it?

Don't redline the motor. Vary your speed and rpm; don't take any long trips on the freeway. Change your oil after 1500 - 3000 miles.

I don't take over 3k until the engine is relatively warm even after the break-in. I usually let the car idle for 15-30 seconds after statup, just to make sure everything's functioning properly before leaving.

If you read the manual it tells you about your break in period
