I was wondering how much it would cost to get my automatic transmission p5 "converted" to a manual transmission. Is it even possible to do? Will it be prohibitiveley expensive? Any and all help will be appreciated.

 

I'm sure it can be done if you have the cash, but it would be a lot eaiser if you traded in your auto P5 for a Stick P5.

 

Too much to be worth it. Just trade it in on a manual.

 

It can be done, but since the P5 is fairly new, there are very few that you will find at a junkyard for the parts you'll need. The parts would also be at a premium. If you really want stick, you'll have to trade in your car or wait about 5 years for the cars to start showing up a junkyards.

 

if you have the time to do it then it's a good learning experience, but you will have to wait, as other said, to find one at a junk yard. That is unless you find one that got rear ended and towed to the yard and follow it in and jack the tranny in the middle of the night
