Question Automatic to Manual

I would like to know if anyyone know how i might go about switching my automatic '95 protege to an automatic. I fear the transmission is on it last leg and If i have to repair/replace i would be intrested in switching it over.

you need a 5 speed tranny , gear lever, third pedal ( clutch) , a lot of air tools , (lol) , maybe another wiring harness, and computer,.... , shifter and levers,
that may be all
Bruce

I was wondering about how much it would cost to get it professionally done, I plan on trying to salvage a lot of parts from a junkyard here in Metro Atlanta.

I mean , you know you are gonna pay labor, so that I really can't tell you , I would really just get a mazda shop manual from the dealer, or email THEMAN and he can tell you where to get the manual from , take 2-3 months studying and asking questions , and then get the tools you need and attack this yourself with a couple friends
