Just wondering if anyone else's horn has died... No joke my horn ko'ed about two weeks ago. I still had 2k miles of warranty left, took it in, they told me I had a defective horn, just wondering if anyone else had run into that.

Well, I changed my horn within the first couple of months of owning the car since it sounds like crap. I put in a louder one but now I am thinking I should put in some air horns

Stocker still works, but I replaced it with one from harbour frieght, its ok, but I yanked one out of a car at a junk yard the other day, havent put it on yet, but I layed it across the battery, it is freaking loud, thats my advice, go to junk yard find a big late 80s 90s horn and replace the stocker
Go to your local Pep Boys/Auto Zone etc and look for their replacement horns. What you want are a set of hi/low tone electric horns that are shaped like a spiral with a large opening on one end. These horns are plastic and usually colored black and red. They have different names on the packaging, but if you look at the horns you should see the name Fiamm. These are Italian and they know how to make loud horns. This is one of the first mods I have made to all my cars for years. You will have to fab up a mount (for my Pro I used flat aluminum bar sourced from Lowe's) and probably extend the wire some, but it is a relatively easy install (you won't need an extra relay or anything else) and you will love it. Watch the guys at the dealer jump when you take it in for servicing and they blow the horn to open the door!!
