Mazda Upgrades 'Familia S-Wagon SPORT20' to Sportier Vehicle

[Main features of Familia S-Wagon 'SPORT20 Special']
1. Upgraded interior and exterior with a sportier look
Exterior
- The upper front grill color-keyed with the body color and blackout headlamp bezels make the front look sportier.
- The 16-inch aluminum wheels are redesigned for a sharper image.
- A special body color, Snow Flake White Pearl Mica, is now available.

Interior - The seat and trim fabrics are black rubber knit and artificial leather. The quality is improved and the non-slip center material has enhanced the sense of stability while cornering.
- The black authentic leather covered steering wheel (manufactured by NARDI) and the shift **** coordinate with the newly adopted seat color for a sportier look.

2. Enhanced sporty driving performance thanks to the special sports tuned suspension (FWD model)
- The new model is equipped with a stronger front stabilizer (its diameter increased up to 23mm), which optimizes the tire potential by minimizing the vehicle position change while cornering, thus maintaining a proper balance between the tires and the ground.
- The damper employs multi-lamination type piston valves to improve damping performance from a very low speed range. This enables optimum performance in a wide variety of driving conditions.
- Modifying the features of the front strut mount rubber attains an excellent balance between driving stability and ride comfort, and also enhances the feeling of direct handling.

3. Additional equipment and improvement for quality and ease of use
- An AM/FM radio, CD kit, and 6 speakers are standard.
- The floor console paint now provides a finer texture. The cup holder is deeper to hold a 500-ml PET bottle with ease.

4. DSC, supporting stable cornering, is now available as an option
- The highly demanded DSC is now an available option.

Some of it the Protege5 already has. But some are neat.

Thumbs up

Okay.

Me likee!

1. How do I open the headlight lens to make mine look like that?

2. If i had had the option for THAT interior i would've picked it! The cheesy cloth interior is probably the only thing that is 'cheap-looking' on our very 'affordable' little car!

3. _When_ the 4wd/turbo/5spd gets here - i just may have to take the negative-equity hit and get it!!

Wow... The differences between the JDM and North American Market are amazing... I swear the Allsport could have taken on the Outback and won!

Durn it, I wish they had more AWD compacts / sedans in the U.S. Then there would be other choices besides Subarus (even though they're cool too ).
