Allow myself to introduce.......myself
Just wanted to say 'ello to everyone.
My wife and I just traded in our Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV for a new 2002 Protege' 5 in yellow. So far I am very happy with the car. It handles awesome and looks the dog's bollocks! I used to own a 2000 Celica GT-S and I think this little Mazda handles even better then the Celi!
Can't wait to Auto-X her

Sweet! Welcome to our little home.
I too have a yellow p5, you must be from the states cuz in Canada, the P5 doesn't come with Roof racks which is a good thing cuz i think it looks nicer without them hehe.

Thanks for the welcome guys!
Orange County in New York is 2 counties north of NYC. It is about 1 hour north driving distance wise. We have some really nice mountain roads around here which is where I primarily ride my Sportbike and now my Protege'. My Celica was a blast around the turns, but this car seems to stick like stink around the bends! Should make for some fun rides home from work

Welcome to the board!
Hey man - we should go blast the Bear Mountain Parkway and Route 6 sometime - now THAT'S a fun drive! If granny and gramps don't get in front of you that is!
Glad to have a fellow New Yawker aboard. Watch for me wreaking havoc in NYC if you're ever down that way - I work in NYC about 50% of my working time.
Again - welcome.

welcome that's pretty impressive that a p5 would be the fave over a celi and a grand vitara. but once you stick the turns in a p5 you'll fall in love, huh? onehawaiian's 5 is yellow as well.
