This might be a silly question to ask......but i'll ask it anyways....

your not touching the bulb with your fingers are you???? the oils on your skin if left on the bulb will cause "hot spots" to form on the bulbs and cause the bulbs to burn out quicker...this supposedly is a common cause of bulbs buring out.......well that's what i heard a long time ago when halogen bulbs first came out....your suppose to use gloves when your changing them and if you accidently touch the bulbs with your fingers your suppose to clean them off with alcohol (well acutally i'm not sure if it was alcohol so i would just make sure you don't touch them in the first place)

I use HKS lights

You will pay like you will pay for Piaa but Unreal looks and output, with the 55w stock output. Our cars use a 55w out put, anything above will burn out the harness which is about 300 bucks.

My driver side bulb keeps going out too. I just pop the hood shake the wire a little and it comes back on. Only thing though is Im using high wattage, but I think the stock harness is weak to begin with.

OK I'm mad....my driver's side low beam filament Philips VisionPlus bulb just died today. High beam still works. I found that odd since it's the same bulb. They've only been in the car for 10 months, bah. Going back to stock for a while...

Anyone tried Silverstars?

Hmm... seems that a lot of us are experiencing that the driver side bulbs seem to burn out earlier than the passenger side...

Actually, I don't know. I've only seen them for Subaru's. Maybe there's some kind of universal kit too.

About the driver's side always burning out... could be the way it's wired??? It wouldn't really be a big deal if they lasted the normal life though.

anyone buy one from this company? I really want the HID look, but have been holding off because I have heard how they burn out so quickly. However, if these harnesses work, then I am willing to buy one up. Any one buy one from somewhere else?

Thanks in advance

when at idle with the lights and heater on, the lights will dim and everytime i use my windows they dim. could the dimming be whats causing the to burn out. i checked the battery and alt and they are putting out proper voltage.

h7, when you take you old bulb out, there is a black piece of plastic on the end of it that conencts to the harness. pull that piece off of the bulb, its a adapter to fit h7 bulbs into that plug.
