aem intake and water ingestion
I have a 2001 pro es 2.0 and just installed the aem intake. I love it really revs faster now. But I was concerned about driving through deep puddles....can this intake suck in water and destroy my motor....has anyone heard about this happening on these intakes??
isn't the AEM intake a short ram style? it would be much harder to suck water into the short style in the engine bay than the the injun intake that sucks air from just a few inches above the road.
