Cool 2003 Mp5

I seem to have stumbled onto what I believe is the 2003 MP5 with blacked out protege (H4) headlights with DRL and different side markers than what is on the 2002.5. Check it out at wolfesauto.com under pro 5 scroll down to the black MP5. Anybody got a clue??

The picture of the black P5 looks identical to the one in last year's Protege 5 brochure you could get at the dealer. People waiting in line to get in bar, etc. Also look at the wheels.

Today I saw 200X protege5-it had blackened out dual beam lights(looks like smoked lenses and black inside housing) and it was in MP3 BLUE colour. It's not posted to any of Mazda websites yet
If someone in Toronto wants to check it out-Northtown Mazda at Yonge &Steeles, rear parking lot by Express Parts.

found my brochure.. All of the pictures on the wolfesauto.com site are taken directly from the 2002 Mazda Protege 5 booklet. The black P5 in question is from the centerfold, no sidemarkers, and the polished "twist" wheels (pre-refresh). The "sidemarker" that appears to be on the car is a reflection from neon lights, the same reflections can be seen just before the front bumper sidelight.

I carry a digital camera in my car. When I see a '03 at the dealer, I will get the photos everyone so badly wants.

2003 MP5

Picked up my P5 today at my local dealer and they had a 2003 P5 in-stock (laser blue). The main differences between the '02 and the '03 are:

-Black headlight housing. Same as '02 but inside painted black or made of black plastic.
-Clear side marker lights
-Different mags, still 5 spoke
-Carbon fiber look power window switch panel dohickeys in the doors instead of the silver ones
-Sport matic transmission available
-Damm you Mazda!! MP3 blue now available for P5

Talked to the service advisor, and there are no internal changes to the engine, drive train, etc.

Did you say BLACK headlight housings???? I was contemplating cracking mine apart to paint them, but if they're available from the dealer that would save me a whole hell of a lot of trouble.
