Just taking a poll to see overall quality with Mazda Protege5 and if the owners had any problems with their Protege5s? If so what kind of problems did you experience?

 

Only problem after a month is a the horn does not work and the paint seems to chip easy.
Wait and see what happens in the next wind storm to see how bad the sand blasts it

 

MINE runs like a top, turns heads where ever we go.....I am VERY satisfied.

You need a third category....A "runs well except for a minor problem". My car has not been perfect, but it has been good so far.

 

15k miles and no problems so far...

just logged 3000 miles, no problems at all . my first new car, still glad it is.

 

no problems here accept the ones caused by modifications...very reliable car

 

80,000 miles, not problems other than replace accs. belts, and normal maintiance. Wifes job has her driving all over the state of texas. We bought it the 3rd day they were availible for purchase. With these many mile I have had to do some trick to get normal maintiance parts ie. brakes and belts.

 

Just hit 8000km. Very good so far except a stubborn rattle in the door and a squeaky driver seat mechanism. No mechanical/electrical problem whatsoever.

And the best part is the engine/tranny loosen up a bit as the odo rolls...running very smooth.

got mine about 11 months ago, only have about 6700 miles. Runs great! No major or minor problems.
