With a more grabby, upgraded clutch, what would I experience in poor conditions? How about rain during the summer? Would the tires tend to break loose in the snow and ice because of the stronger grab? I'm thinking I could prevent a lot of wheelspin with upgraded tires, however, even with winter tires, I wouldn't want them to constantly be losing traction when shifting/starting. Any thoughts on the matter are welcome. Thanks.

PS - The clutch would be installed with a lightweight flywheel, if that would affect anything in the above questions?

 

if you're careful and just slip the clutch "like usual", then you're fine

 

i upgraded my clutch and flywheel....

things i've noticed:

it does make your idle speed alittle more unstable

you will be fine in winter, might get alittle more wheel spin but all you have to do is slip the clutch abit more, or just start out in second when the conditions are really bad

 

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure if an aftermarket clutch would slip the same as the stock one. My next mods will probably be the clutch and flywheel then...as soon as money comes in and I learn how to do the install (and find tools...).
