turbo Question

I'm planning on putting a turbo on my 00' pro DX. 1.6L. I was wondering how much boost can the stock internal handle. I'm assuming the stock internals can handle up to 10psi ? If i were to boost more than that, would i need to upgrade the internals and who makes internals for the 1.6, thanks

worry about tuning the fuel and you tranny...one of those will cause problems WAY before your stock internals give out

yeah dont worry bout the engine, as long as your tuned right, and set it up good, they will last you for a very very long time, i have my 99 lx 1.6 litre turbo now, and am running 10 psi, with no problems, dave potter has the same engine, and races his with a bigger turbo, and much higher boost, with no troubles. if you have any questions about a turbo setup feel free to ask me, and ill help you any way possible.
