Turbo Kit for 1.6L interest?

Hey 1.6ers,
I'm in the process of turbo charging my 1.6L and the guy specing it out and going to do the install is willing to but together some kits for anybody else that are serious interested. As of right now cost is not known and it will be just a basic system with intercooler or water cooled options. I'll probably be doing a T3 water cooled with a BOV and some sort a timer/ boost controller. We expect to take the rest of the summer to work it out so the soonest it would be available is in late fall at this point. Expect cost to be in compression to other systems coming out for the MP3 around between $2500.00 -$4000.00 depending on what is need to safely turbo the car between 5-8 psi. The shop that is doing all the engineering is a very respected shop they current have the fast AWD drag care in the world so they know turbos. You can check out their web site at http://www.extrememotorsports.com/index.htm . E-mail me if your interested full payment will be needed before manufacturing and no warranties will be given.

Good choice David. Extreme Motorsports is an excellent shop with tons of knowledge (mostly DSM stuff). They aren't the cheapest in the book but, you can't pay enough for their experience.

Good luck with the turbo.

yea yea extreme is good, they have some bad *** turbo that supossedly spools at 2800 rpms, and is good for like 30 psi. a friend of mine with a supra is ordering one/ i've dealt with them back when i had my dsm and they might be pricey unless you know the right people and can get it at a great discount.
