Stinky exhaust .. ?[HELP]

I just got a custom 2.25" exhaust and magnaflow muffler installed on my car, and I noticed that it was kinda stinky when driving. like a sulphur type smell. I was told that its my cat workin overtime or something like that as a result of poor air/fuel mixture.

would an ECU reset possibly fix this ? Like what I had to do when I installd the Injed CIA.

anyone else have this prob after installing an exhaust?

any suggestions ?

Thanks.

Nope most new exhuast systems will stink for a couple of weeks. Its nothing to worry about.

Yeah, it should go away after a while. My friend who has a Miata put on a custom cat-back Magnaflow exhaust, and I followed him home in my Protege from the muffler shop. Even with the A/C on recirculate, I was still gagging from the rotten egg smell. I thought I was gonna die or something.

If it happens on all new exhaust systems, it could just be the muffler lining burning off like it's supposed to.
