Performance Exhausts & Superchargers Available?

Isn't the compression on the 2.0L Protege motor to high to run higher boost levels? And doesn't that mean we can run lower boost with better results then say a honda civic pushing 8 pounds? Just wondering. And also the S2000 isn't that a straight 6??

I'm thinking what that guy meant to ask is whether with higher compression you can run less boost and still get the same amount of power. So a general yes would be the answer there.
