Painting AEM intake?

I have searched and found nothing.

Does any see why I can't buy a AEM intake in silver and send it in to get painted to match under the hood? I don't see any problems but I thought I would ask and see if any one else has ever done this.

I have a ractive intake that i got powder coated red to match the shock tower bar. There is no problems with painting it, but make sure you use a high temp. paint or when your intake heats up the paint may start to peel!!

I didn't think there would be a problem.

Powder coating would be a better option if you want durability.
