Question new cams?

Has any one found performance cams for the MP3 yet? I haven't realy looked for them yet but I thought that maybe some one has.

Any performance cam for the FS-DE (2.0L) or FP-DE (1.8L) will work on the MP3. There is a J-spec intake cam from the FS-ZE ($168) and an exhaust cam from Mazdaspeed ($152) that will fit both engines. I don't know if there are other cams available. One place you can find these is at Corksport

Other parts from the FS-ZE are available such as the dual-runner intake manifold and 10.4:1 pistons. 10.7:1 Mazdaspeed pistons are also available as well as a header. Or, you can just buy the FS-ZE and swap engines... a really expensive route.

BE CAREFUL! the 10.4:1 pistons require a re-bore! however, the 10.7:1 pistons will slide right in.

Really? Just curious... why would it require a rebore? It is supposedly the same piston from the FS-ZE and uses the stock Mazda piston rings (according to Corksport, that is).

i am seriously under the impression that the stock FS-ZE pistons are .030 over size, and the mazdaspeed pistons are standard size. (at least, that's what i am remembering)
