pic of the SEDAN exhaust

we've all seen Maxx Mazda's pic of the Mazdaspeed exhaust for the P5, here's a pic of the exhaust for the SEDAN:

oh yeah, according to the label on the box, the muffler is made in SOUTH AFRICA, out of all places

go figure

i got it on Friday and installed it on Saturday morning, It only took about 45 minutes incluting taking off the right passengers rear wheel and ZIp boom Bang it was on and it was like i had a new car. I had a hard time getting out of the car i cruzed all day long and all the next day. It totally adds to the cars look sound and feel! I am Formally forming a Pro5 club here in Hawaii and regestering it with the US car club association.

ok having a problem here. The 2 nuts that are holding the midsection and the muffler section together are rusted through and has seized. What can I do to loosen it up??????

Re: Mazdaspeed Exhaust Sound Clips / Pics Here!

I took these in my garage with a laptop, and windows sound recorder. The sound is distorted at times from the high-amounts of bass produced. Only hearing it in person will do them justice. If you don't have a good sub for your PC, you're really missing out on the sound. The hissing at the end is from my Injen intake. I think it's just the air rushing out of the piping upon shutdown.

For pics fo the exhaust, click here.

For the sound clips, (thanks to Protetype for the space ) look below:

Hope you enjoy, and comments welcome!

Max love the pics and the sound. I already have an exhaust system but I am interested in changing it. I have replaced everything else with 2.25" stainless and went with a high flow cat. The problem is that the pieces that were used to put the existing muffler (which is also aftermarket) do not fit quite right and the muffler hangs down a bit. Looks ok, but I like the look of the mazdaspeed better. I think that I will go with the mazdaspeed or the HKS. Could you tell me where you purchased the exhaust, and what was the cost?

the reason it's made in south africa is, tah-dah.. it's made by bosal, who is out of south africa.. they oem all the exhausts for our mazda proteges (I know it says mazdaspeed but I'm guessing the tip is only mazdaspeed's design)

nice exhaust for a good deal, whew i wouldnt mind having that over my standard bosal full exhaust system..
