It isn`t obnoxiously loud though. Its more of a soothing bass than anything else. You definitely notice it and if hearing more noise inside the cabin is something you dont want, then dont get this muffler.

It has a nice deep sound during acceleration and decelaration, but over 4200RPM, it doesnt make a sound. All you hear is your intake and engine. I like the way it changes over like that and has made me start driving at slightly higher rpms.

I've had mine on for 3 days. I had a hell of a time taking the old muffler out since the bolts were already rusted and one of them warped when I started taking it off. I had to cut it off with a dremel. But it seems I am the only one who had any kind of difficulty taking it off. If it hadnt of been for that bolt, it would have been very easy.

I plan on doing my calipers blue to match my blue drums, and I think Midnight Blue is a nice colour. The new Blue on the Pro 5 looks like purple in the sunlight (Yuck)

I've compared my car (with an Injen CAI) to another P5 with just the exhaust, and mine is alot throatier because of the intake. The one with the stock intake was very "whiny" (as my engine was before the CAI) but mine had a deeper, more satisfying growl to it... Invest the cash and get a CAI for performance anyway. All show and no go is gay.

i must agree the injen cai is a big help in the throaty sound department. before i had my axle back on it was nice to hear the intake suck up the air and now its even nice to hear the rumble and the sucking sound.

jaisai01: i would say get the aem shorty and get a custom piece of pipe to connect it to so you have the little extra cool air from down lower instead of sucking up warm air from the engine bay.

while it may make your car growl..... 5 HP won't make it "go" too much faster.

Why don't you tell us what you really think!??

So when you painted your drums... Did you do that so people would think you have aftermarket racing "drum brakes"?

how much difference are you noticing with the new intake/exhaust? i'm considering doing this as well. no heavy modifications, just a little extra punch.
