I think the kartboy bushings actually go where the end of the shifter linkage meets up with the transmission. They don't attach to the end of the actual shift lever.

Just wanted to clarify as i've seen a lot of posts from people who get these things and can't figure out how to attach them to the short throw lever.

You are correct. I guess the people who think the bushings are for the shifter end have not been underneath their car yet.

I think if I ever do this mod I'll go with Kartboy, after reading the thread about the B&M shifter's stickiness in hot weather. Something to consider...

is there a big hieight difference between the kartboy and the b and m just wondering and also another question why do ppl pay 100 dollars for a shift **** just cuz it is momo or what i mean what the hell is so good bout it???????? and does the kartboy stick in hot weather to?

the kartboy ss sits lower than the b&m bushings. i just had my kartboy installed today and i love it so far.

actually, it happens in cold weather too. It happens as the car reaches normal operating temperature... and if you idle the car after its warmed up and go drive it 5~10 minutes after idling, it'll be extremely stiff.
