K&N filter whistling

K&N filter whistling
changed to K&N filter 3 weeks ago, so far satisfied, slightly better response. Do not see any noticeable improvement in gas mileage.
Only curious - is that NORMAL that I hear now whistling sound where speeding? Sounds like racing car, it is not annoying .
I checked it and it is sitting firmly and does not look like sucking some air .
Thanks for comments.

You may want to revise your post cause it doesnt make much sense, but if i understand correctly your talking about your k&n whistling at high speeds? I have the k&n and havent noticed any sounds from it. Maybe it is your roof-rack or whiper-blades that are causeing the high pitch noise. Just pop-the hood and rev the engine one day to see if thats where the noise is coming from. If so make sure the entire air box is tightend properly and there are no leaks...Hope that helps

I think you mean you're hearing the "whoosh" sound of air being sucked in from the intake? Yes I hear that too once I had my K&N drop-in filter installed.
What you are hearing is all the intake sounds that the stock PAPER filter muffles out. I love the sound
and yes it is perfectly normal
