Arrow JDM intake cam

Does anybody know anything about the intake cam that is sold on protege5online.com.I know its OEM on the proteges in Japan but my concern is if it will pass Texas state inspection.I talked to the tech department there and he said nobody has said anything about passing or not passing any emission testing so im hessitant to buy it.Does anybody have one and if so did you take an emissions test and pass? Thanks.

I can't see how it would not pass emission testing, it does not affect the emission system.
You ain't getting no 12hp from it, though.

yeah, it'll pass just fine.

I bought both cams from SR Motorsports and only got about 18hp 15tq.

p.s. protege5online is not highly recommended to do business with. I've dealth with them for a long time and have been lied to and cheated. Also, they haven't updated info in the past 2 years at least.

^^werd on that. I have seen a lot of negative reports with protege5online.

I don't know if anyone else carries the cams for less, but I think it's worth the extra money to get it/them from srmotorsports.
