intakes for automatic same as manual?

I have an auto Protege ES 2.0 sedan. I would like to order either the AEM or Injen intake ASAP. Is there a difference between the intakes for an auto Protege and a 5 speed Protege? Thanks

Nope. Same one for both.

Yes there is a difference. At least with the AEM. The 5speed version will not fit properly on an automatic because the 5 speed version goes down near the tranny and an auto tranny leaves less room.

After doing a search I found these past threads:

All the Protege sedan use intake number 22-480. P5 uses 22-481.

No dude...you got it wrong.
The 1.8 L engine AND the 2.0 L AUTO tranny uses 22-480.
The 2.0 L MANUAL tranny (regardless of P5 or sedan) uses 22-481.
