Is there an acttual intake manifold that is avalible for the 2.0?

I think there's a j-spec one, but it's pricey... ? Also you might look into the intake manifolds for the 2.0l Probe/MX-6.

nah, no real aftermarket options. I think that you'll find our IM is pretty well designed and that replacing it with a short runner style like hondas may produce a little more top end it will SERIOUSLY affect (negatively) our low end grunt that we all hold in such high regard.

FS-ZE manifold is supposed to produce more power...Haven't seen results but from what I understand it is a big difference in flow over the US Spec one

What about those butterfly flaps right before the head??? Removing those has to help. I've seen pics of the port matching between the head and IM...not so good. I've seen and heard of people port matching the IM to the head and getting good gains. Just dunno the numbers...anyone else see this or hear about it??

Those flaps are the VCTS system previously mentioned...removing them DOES help. So does port matching and polishing...do a search...you should get a better idea about numbers

What do you need to do to remove the VCTS from the I/M??? Are the numbers really that good???
