Increase horsepower on my 2000 Protege DX
Hi, all:
Has anyone heard about SpiralMax? The vendor says it can increase horsepower, MPG, on any car. Installation is a snap, per vendor.

The search will definitly help. Start with an intake. Those spiral max things are like $60 and a complete waste of money on a small displacement engine like ours. You could get an AEM for about $150 and you will realize actual gains. Good luck!

Nazabe, welcome to the board... I've got a 1.6 too and about 50 miles north of you. 
Don't want your money on crap that won't work. Do a search here for the 1.6, and you'll find some useful info. Also, PM me, maybe we can hook up someday and i'll show you my 2000 dx.
