Hi!, i want to know if i can install a protege 2001 radio in my protege 2000 without too much troubles?

Do the plugs in the back of the radio are compatible?

And last, i want to install my protege 2000 radio in my 323 1992, again, is the plug compatible?

None of those are interchangable.

If the actual HU will fit in the other car it should be possible. You can buy a reverse 2001 wiring harness that will plug right into the back of the 2001 HU. Then you can buy a regular 2000 wiring harness and connect it to the 2001 reverse harness. Plug the reverse harness into the 2001 HU and the regular 2000 harness into the stock harness.

Scosche makes a reverse harness for 2001+ The only place I found that sells it is http://www.adleraudio.com

Um, 2001 is a double din as I assume 2000 was but I don't think they used the same mounting brakets so it may not just slide in.

He wants to dump a 2001 radio into a 2000 which was a single tin setup so the mounting of the radio could be a bitch. The wiring harnesses won't match up so atleast 2 adapters are needed. He also wants to dump a 2000 radio into a 92 which is a din and a 1/2 so that won't fit.
