matt, it's time like these you wish you were modding a ford. I just bought some new SHO parts and was talking with a friend about our old SVO's. I actually dropped .4s in the quarter just by unplugging my knock sensor on the SVO. Did nothing else but un-hook it. THATS some easy modding!

Yea, like bumping the timing and removing the air silencer in the old 5.0 Mustangs. If you weren't already in the 13s (which you should have been if you could drive), you were then. After the gear swap it was no problem.



That is what I still love about the 'Stang. Of course, even the Lightning is like the good old days. It is almost effortless to modify.


I miss the old EEC-IV MAF computer days though...

Yea, me too. And they say the Zetec isn't any good! Hell, that little bugger ran like crazy. I wish I had that engine in the P5!

Sure you'd have an extra 10 ponies, but you'd also be drinking oil... Those Zetec's were crap... There's a reason they killed the line for the MZR.
