How much now?

I know this has been asked a million times, but to those of you who have dynoed the P5, how much HP and TQ do you think I have now?

I figure 115whp max.

PR5 engine mods: Custom/Vibrant exhaust (2.25"), OBX header, catless midpipe, 3" CAI, R&R UDP, MP3 ECU, J-Spec intake cam, removed VTCS and ported intake, coolant bypass on throttle body, BR6E-IX plugs.

Do you plan on doing a dyno anytime soon?
I'm curious because I think you are underestimating.
My cipherin' came up with 128-132whp.
BTW, where in WV do you live? I need to dyno, soon, so I can sell a couple more of these headers. I found a Dynojet in Youngwood, PA, right off the turnpike, which I prefer over a Mustang Dyno--maybe we can get a better deal if we both go...

mattsstang87 December-29th-2005 12:38 PM

I live near Charleston, WV in a town called Ripley. The nearest dynos I know of are in Huntington, WV (dynojet), and across the river in Ohio along old route 33 near Nelsonsville (dynojet). Sorry.

mattsstang87 December-29th-2005 12:44 PM

I would be so happy with 130whp.

kargoboy December-29th-2005 12:46 PM

Eh, ok. I was hoping you were closer to the PA border.
So, then, are you gonna dyno, 'cuz we all wanna know.
I'd like to compare mine to yours.

Hopefully more than 121whp! (Since that is what I had pre-ecu-swap)

Roddimus Prime December-29th-2005 04:40 PM

hmm. I would say 120-125whp would be good but probably optimistic. Sadly our cars dont' respond well to NA mods. I blame the poor head esign and ultra-crap ecu.

That sounds about right.

What were your mods when you were 121hp?

VICS???

Mattstang...I pm'd you back.

Roddimus Prime December-30th-2005 02:41 PM

I dynoed 115whp 118tq with obx header and jspec cams alone...WHILE thorwing a CEL.

mattsstang87 December-30th-2005 09:04 PM

So you guys think 120-125 is possible, but not 130?

I am so happy with the powerband now, I am re-thinking the need for the exhaust cam.

Phantom Cruiser December-30th-2005 10:46 PM

130 seems to be the "elusive" number....
