Try this site, http://www.haltech.com.au/Products/products.html

I'm not very familiar with which setup you'd need, but I'd assume the E6k would do you good. I was talking to braden, and he said the haltech ECU is like $1400 or something. Guess I better start saving!

I'm sure braden could tell you all you can handle, send him a private message or his AIM name is turboprotege. I think his name on this board is turboge. Hope this helps.

The haltec unit is perfect for the p5

quoted from hot 4's magazine (article based on turbo sr2/p5)

"The E6K, as we quickly dicovered, is a highly capable unit with enough capacity to run the air conditioning system and fan switching, plus the additionla features we wanted, such as boost control. The installation of the E6K then controls a vast array of engine functions: the idle control motor, the fuel injectors, the ignition coils, the dual-length inlet manifold system, electronic boost control solenoid, thermofans, air-conditioning compressor and even the tachometer. The whole shooting match was neatly integrated into the factory loom inside the cabin, with only additional sensor requirement being the 2bar map sensor, so that the Haltech could read boost of the engine properly"

"As with most good quality management systems, the mapping of the Haltech presented no drama, especially considering the Haltech engineers had written some software for a special ignition mode. This would allow the E6K to talk directly to the Ford/Mazda crank-trigger set-up"

i hope that helps though.

The E6K should be all anyone would ever need on a street car. It has 4 PWM outputs on it to control a range of gadgets. I am using 3 of them right now. "BAC Valve, Boost Controller, Radiator Fan".

The maps are very easy to tune, using a graphical layout with bar graphs mapping from 30in vac to 30psi boost (3 bar MAP sensor). You can plug in a trim **** for on the fly adjustments of boost, timing, or fuel. This helped me out just last night when something happened with my boost and it was spiking upwards of 20psi (an area untuned yet), so I quickly backed off 5 degrees of timing with the ****... car pulled incredibly hard at 20psi..lol

What you may find useful is the "Zero throttle" map... This is for cars with lumpy cams with instable vacuum at idle. This allows you to tune idle in a number of varying ranges.

The complete setup for what you would need runs about $1450. All you need is a laptop. Check out My Results and see for yourself. It is a 1.8L GTX Motor, stock everything. Front mount intercooler and 3" exhaust... I have pulled even more power out of it after those runs!
