Question Exhaust or engine chip ?

Greetings Protege Lovers,
I have just purchased my 2003 Protege SP20 and....WOW....what a car. Its not hard to see why so many people love the Pro.

OK..down to my question. I am thinking of giving my great little car a bit more zoom zoom and wondered whether I should begin with an exhaust mod or an engine chip mod ?? I am not interested in making the car a rocketship....but would like to have a little more zing underneath my foot....for those rare occassions.

All suggestions are most welcome !

Keep on Smilin'

I am not sure about your Australian ECU, so I can't tell you about a "chip"...In North America, our OBD-II emissions system does an effective job of rendering any chip/signal modifier useless...

So if yours is similar to ours, bag the chip and go with a decent looking and sounding exhuast system...
