Engine or Exhaust?
I started my car up this morning, waiting for it to warm up a little. I noticed when I gave it some gas, (i guess its somekind of exhaust prob?) I let the gas go and it sound like a "liquid" noise??
Its hard to describe it? It sounded as a real small back fire ?
Any help please .... lol hehe
Thanks in Advance,
Earl

The A/C wasnt on , ..... It sounds like it wants to stall out...
It was nice out ..... about 70 ... 79 i think...
My car idle's pretty nice... I first start it up and it hits about 1000rpm's.... I give it about a minute, it goes to 750 rpm's.
If I have it in park or in neutral, I give it some gas and let go off it.... when it idle's back down, I hear like a "fart" sound or - a backfire of some sort.
If you took a deck of playing cards and tied one card onto a bike to let it hit the spokes and pedal it... it kind of sounds like that.
Hope that clarifies that a little?

Weird
I dont have a clue really. It could very well be an exhaust leak that is letting the cool air into the hot exhaust and doing some funky dance thing in the pipe...but I really cant diag that kind of thing from here...lol. Take it to a technician near you and just let em listen, maybe they can give you an idea without making you pay....lol
