Hello. I seem to be hearing a slight 'growl' coming from underneath the driver seat area...not really the engine, however it is only noticeable during acceleration. It just sounds 'rough', not smooth and clean like my friends. I have a 2001 Protege LX 2.0...his is and EX. Any idea what this might be...i took it to the dealer and they said is seemed fine, although in a compareable drive in my friends, his does seem much 'smoother'. Any thoughts. Bearings are mint!

I'd like to add that this is not specific to cold engine driving from intial start up...this occurs even after engine has been warmed up and driven on highway.....
