I have 1999 lx 1.6. When my car is at idle only, the car idles crazy. It gets worse when my a/c is on. The car does not idle over 750 rpms. When it does its little majic trick, the rpms fall to around 300, and then back up to normal. There are only a few seconds of time lapse before it happens again, and seems to be getting worse. My CEL is not on. When im going down the highway i do not feel any hesitation or stumbling. Only at idle and when i first take off from a dead stop. Thank you for your help...Kaleb

Thanks for your replies. I went nuts trying to find out what it could have been. I changed my plugs about 3 months ago. Come to find out, at least one of the plugs were bad. I used the NGKs. I changed them to the Denso plugs. Wala!! no more problems....Kaleb
