Cone filter replacement

I have a cheap E-bay short ram intake for my P5. But I think the cone shape filter that comes with it isn't doing a very good job filtering all the air into my engine.
I want to buy a better filter for it.
What brand of filter are you guys using?
Anyone use Ractive brand filter before?

So far I have seen the following brand avaliable: Ractive, K&N, Apex.
Which brand is good? (price VS performance)

Does AEM or Injen has their own cone shape filter too?

I have a Ractive one in my car and so far it seems pretty good. I have heard though that the Ractive ones are not all that good.

To anyone else who reads this... How often to I clean the cone filters? And how?
