Cone Filter

Hello,
I know this issue has come up before, but I just need re-assurance! I am about to pick up one of those cone-shaped performance filters...The things I really need to know is...

1. Will it make my BULLET muffler sound better, and
2. Is it EASY to install...can I do it on my lunchbreak??

Any feedback would be good!

will it make your muffler sound better?? no, why would it??

It will increase the amount of intake noise you hear which could be mistaken as "engine noise" and thusly exhaust noise but they are unrelated.

i doubt you could do it properly on your lunch break. Just wait untll you get homne and have a 10mm wrnech/socket ready. it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. Make sure to support your MAF to keep it from flailing about.
