ok first off I am a strong believer in the FAQ's sometimes the information is not all there so I will ask a question....and it usually gets answered...but the main problem that I have with certain individuals is that okay maybe finacially proteges, baseline to tuner are probably not the smartest choice..but for most of us MEN on this forum it is about creating, and making something better then what it was....its primal!!! okay I know I dont know the most about cars on this forum **** I probably know the least ans thats okay, I will learn..but for a Protege owner who was limited on finances so he bought a pro, and is only on this forum so he can learn and spread BS advice..plainly Suck a dick...you are what is wrong with anything decent people try to do to entertain themselves and everyone around them...for someone who wants to spread advice and learn you surely come off as an ******* and yes I am talking about MACH 1.....if you are going to criticize an attempt of passion for us to satisfy something important to us and stop checking the forum. what I am saying..........you are a male I assume so I am sure you have beat your meat before...now was that the most productive thing you could have done with your time???NO...but in the end you felt alot better huh??

Wow, quite a powerful statement from another clueless individual.

I think I mentioned MANY times over that Im not trying to persuade anybody to do anything. Im simply giving my opinion on throwing a lot of money into a Protege to try to make it fast. I will admit I am a little against the whole modifying car hobby (to a point) as I have done it many times with many different cars, and in my experience, you get tired of the car after you are done with it. The fun part is doing the work on the car, and seeing it progress, but after it gets so far, and you have spent so many thousands of dollars, what do you have? A car that isnt worth anymore and will be harder to sell when you do(unless you find a buyer looking for exactly what you have done to your car and willing to pay extra for it) and in the case of a Protege, you will still have a slow car. Not to mention the more you modify them, the less reliable they become.

I know, obviously the people around here are going to have to learn this the hard way, so Im not gonna comment on it anymore, and of course maybe some poeple dont feel the same way about thier car when its done, (or they get tired of it, usually they are never done)but I have a lot of friends in the car hobby and have seen it happen to all of them.

I dont care what you think I come off as, Im not here to make posts that make you feel all warm and fussy inside, maybe you should go beat your meat some more if it makes you feel so good...

The trick is when you sell the car you just say does'nt that feel really powerful. The engine has always felt really good I guess thats why I'm asking a little more for it.

I've included this, this and this for you.

The car is'nt that much harder to sell if you know how to sell it. The trick is when you build it up make it streetable so it still passes smog and whatnot. Make it look good. Do a good job so it does'nt fall apart.

But personally 4cyl motors are not for me as much any more. I'm looking for some good old detroit muscle.

Am I to interpret that if you can't beat a Honda, then you can always beat, uh, ......, er, go home and play with yourself?

You guys obviously have much more than time on your hands!
