www.corksport.com

Very pricey to do a swap. Would cheaper/easier to import over a AWD Familia from japan with low miles and then turbo the crap out of it!

I will pass on my years of info in one simple phrase...

"How fast it goes and how good it looks depends on the size of your pocket books."

You would have a hard time turning the engine, making the accessories not rub the radiator, creating a transmission tunnel through the dash and into the interior compartment and then finding some sort of axle assemble and rear diff for it to bolt up to, then you have the problem of re-creating rear suspension.

AWD would be wasier believe it or not! Just import a 3 year old Sport20 aor familia with AWD....

If you've got the $$ to spend, don't waste your time on a Protege, or importing one. Just go get a WRX. It is already AWD and has a turbo, and you can get one used for the price of a new Protege.
