while you prolly could FI an auto, if you run any significant boost it may be the end of your tranmission. And superchargers, there are no kits availible for our cars that im aware of. However turbo kits so far are:

SPOOL
BEGI/Flyin Protege
HiBoost

 

Another option might be to find a tuner shop that might be able to re-work the automatic. A buddy of mine had it done and it made a pretty big difference. Not sure what he paid, but it might be worth looking a little further into.

level 10 can work on autos to make them virtually bulletproof.

 

not sure but the company area 51? from what i was told.. is suppoer to come out wiht a supercharger kit for the protege.. so i heard.. i don't stand behind that statement 100%

 

Area 51 was paid $15,000 by wings west to put a vortech on the wings west mp3. It was a custom job and won't be released as a kit (at least not by Area 51). Why? Because Area 51 went out of business a couple of months ago.
