Alright well here's one more newberooni question. I gots a Bosal catback exhaust on my p5, and all this talk about cats, primary cat, and secondary cats, well I'm not exactly sure what I eliminated when I put my catback on, so bottom line is will this bolt right up to my bosal, or is there still gonna be some stock pieces in between this header and my exhaust?

Uhh, I think I just figured it out, I eliminated my secondary catg when I put my exhaust on, and this header will bolt right up to it. I was looking at some pics of ****, and its the only thing that makes sense. Oh well anyone else?

Are you sure you didn't just eliminate the scilencer?

Uhh see that I don't know. Whatever it was I eliminated sumthin when I put my Bosal on. So that's what I was wondering if anyone could tell me. But the way it looks to me from pictures is that the header WILL bolt right on to the front end of my catback. At least i hope it does.

It should, and I believe the Bosal eliminates the resonator.

So the bosel eliminates the resonator, which means you still have the second cat and then you would have the new header (eliminating the Primary cat).

i'm not sure about all the 2.0's... but the bosals were running two different kinds. on 99&00 sedans... we were running two different systems. The Federal, and the California versions. The federal cars, only have one cat (primary, duh ) and a resonator. The Bosal federal just replaces the oem resonator, with their own, does not remove anything. The California version, replaces the secondary cat, with their own I believe. From what I understand, when the 2.0's came out, all of the cars were California standard, and had both cats. Someone can correct me on that if I'm wrong, and if I am... then the same thing applied probably, Federal and Cali.

Yeah well I live in Oregon, and I'm pretty sure I got the federal one, so uhhh am I gonna be able to bolt the header right up to it? I mean I was looking at the header pictures and then I was looking at my exhaust again today, and it physically looks like thre's no way else it could attach but to bolt straight up to my exhaust.
